The Fashion Pool publishes fashion inspiration, styling explanations and shopping-related guidance. This page explains the limits of that information and the standards that guide how we prepare, label and correct it.
Our aim is useful editorial content with clear distinctions between facts, styling preferences, commercial messages and illustrative material. No article, image or recommendation can replace checking whether an item or idea suits your own circumstances.
General information, not an individual professional service
Our content is intended for general education and inspiration. It is not a personal styling consultation, medical advice, legal advice or a guarantee that a purchase will meet a particular need.
Clothing fit, comfort and appearance vary with measurements, fabric, construction, movement and personal preference. A combination that works in a photograph may need adjustments for your climate, mobility, dress code or daily activities.
Styling words such as elegant, balanced or versatile describe an editorial judgment. They are not objective measurements, universal rules or promises about how other people will respond to your appearance.
Our editorial priorities
We favor explanations readers can use. An outfit guide should explain the role of its main pieces, suggest realistic alternatives and help a reader make a decision rather than repeat a list of fashionable adjectives.
Our initial coverage focuses on outfit ideas, wardrobe planning, styling, seasonal fashion, accessories and relevant shopping questions. Trends should be placed in context instead of presented as obligations. We aim to avoid body-shaming language, fabricated expertise and recommendations based solely on a promotional opportunity.
Research, sources and attribution
For verifiable claims, we prefer sources appropriate to the subject: an official brand specification for a material or product detail, an event organizer for a dress code, an identified designer or publication for a quotation, and a clearly documented dataset for a numerical trend claim.
Social posts, search results and retailer descriptions can suggest ideas, but they do not independently prove popularity, durability, authenticity or a product’s suitability. We should distinguish a brand’s statement from a fact confirmed elsewhere.
Sources should be linked or attributed where doing so helps readers assess a material claim. We do not invent interviews, quotations, customer reviews, measurements, test results or statistics to make an article sound more authoritative.
We write original explanations. Quoting a limited passage with appropriate attribution does not give us permission to reproduce another publication’s article, photographs or distinctive presentation.
AI assistance and automated publishing work
The Fashion Pool uses AI-assisted tools for research support, outlining, drafting, editing, formatting, metadata and other publishing tasks. AI can help organize information, but it can also produce incorrect claims, outdated details or misleading descriptions.
Our publishing workflow prepares articles, applies editorial and structural checks, and can publish completed content directly to WordPress. Those checks can identify formatting and metadata problems; they do not establish that every factual claim is correct or that an article has been reviewed by a qualified human fashion specialist.
We do not describe AI-assisted work as exclusively human-written or claim that every article has received a human expert review unless that review actually occurred. A named reviewer, contributor or tester should represent a real person and a real contribution.
Readers can report concerns through Contact Us. The need to correct an error is the same whether it arose in research, human editing or an automated step.
Authorship and editorial responsibility
The Fashion Pool Editorial Team is a publication byline. It does not, by itself, claim a particular number of employees, professional credentials or first-hand product experience. Where an article is credited to a named contributor, the name and relevant background should be genuine.
Specialist review, hands-on testing and original reporting should be described only when supported by the actual work. General buying guides and illustrative outfit roundups must not be presented as laboratory testing or personal experience.
Product recommendations and shopping accuracy
A product recommendation may be based on published specifications, a stated use case or editorial selection. Unless an article expressly explains an actual test, readers should not assume we have bought, worn, washed or independently authenticated the item.
Retailer prices, discounts, sizes, stock, shipping estimates and returns conditions can change. Currency, tax, shipping charges and delivery availability depend on the seller and destination. Check the seller’s current listing and terms before ordering.
Universal labels such as best, affordable or investment piece require context. A guide should explain the criteria behind a selection, and readers may reasonably reach a different conclusion based on budget, fit, care requirements or intended use.
A similar-looking alternative is not necessarily the same material, craftsmanship or quality as the item that inspired it. We do not endorse counterfeit products or misleading claims of brand affiliation.
Affiliate links and material connections
Some future or current articles may include affiliate links when an affiliate relationship is in place. If you make a qualifying purchase through such a link, The Fashion Pool may earn a commission under that program’s terms. The article should identify the relationship close enough to the recommendation for you to understand it before acting.
An affiliate relationship does not transfer responsibility for your order to The Fashion Pool. The linked seller handles its own sale, payment, delivery and returns. The price and any charges remain subject to that seller’s current terms.
Financial payments, gifts, free samples, travel support and other material benefits should also be disclosed when they are relevant to an endorsement. A disclosure on this general policy page does not replace a clear disclosure on the affected article or promotional asset.
Sponsored features, advertisements and brand submissions
A paid editorial feature should be clearly identified as sponsored, paid partnership or another understandable label. Advertisements should be recognizable and should not imitate a download button, website navigation or an independent editorial recommendation.
A brand can provide accurate information about its product, but a commercial arrangement does not justify an invented test result, hidden material connection or guaranteed positive review. We do not sell undisclosed endorsements or search-ranking guarantees.
Payment-related links should be qualified appropriately, including the sponsored link attribute where applicable. We do not offer paid placements intended to pass search-ranking credit as if they were independent recommendations.
Receiving a press release or product submission does not create an obligation to feature it. An article should distinguish independent selection from an agreed commercial placement.
Images, outfit illustrations and Pinterest content
Visuals may include original photographs, licensed stock, authorized brand images or clearly identified AI-generated illustrations. Attribution is not a substitute for permission when permission is required.
Generated or composited outfit visuals can illustrate a styling idea. They do not prove that a garment exists, that an outfit was worn by a real person or that a particular product has the depicted fit, fabric or construction. They should not be passed off as documentary celebrity, runway or event photography.
Image descriptions should describe the actual visible content. A product link should not imply an exact match when the image is illustrative or the linked item is only a similar option.
Pinterest headlines and other promotional text should match the destination article. A pin should not promise more outfits, an exclusive offer or a tested result that the article does not provide. Commercial connections remain relevant when content is promoted away from the website.
Fashion, beauty and care precautions
Check garment care labels before using a washing, ironing, stain-removal or alteration suggestion. Test an appropriate method discreetly where the manufacturer permits it, and consider professional help for delicate, valuable or unfamiliar materials.
Fashion-related beauty guidance is not a substitute for advice from a qualified clinician about allergies, skin conditions or other health concerns. Stop using a product if it causes an adverse reaction and seek suitable professional help. A style article should not diagnose a condition or promise a health outcome.
Corrections and updates
To report an error, send the article URL, the passage concerned and a supporting source when available. We assess whether the issue is factual, a matter of interpretation or a preference.
Our correction standard is to fix verified material errors and explain significant changes when that context matters. A small spelling or formatting correction may not need a separate note. An updated date should reflect a meaningful review or change, not merely an attempt to make an old article look new.
A retained publication date, a trend label or an earlier retailer price should not be interpreted as a promise that every detail remains current. We cannot guarantee that all past content has been continuously rechecked.
External websites and future commerce
Links can lead to websites we do not operate. Their content, privacy practices and sales conditions are their responsibility. A link does not create a guarantee about a third party.
If The Fashion Pool later introduces direct sales, those purchases will need separate information about the seller, product, delivery, returns and support. The present editorial disclaimer does not supply a store’s missing terms or waive rights that the law protects.
